About
Amanuel works at the Gardulla People Development Association in southern Ethiopia, and he is a partner of the Global Bean project. GPDA is implementing “agroforestry for sustainable development of people and nature” and supports small-scale farmers in soil and water conservation, farm yield productivity and rehabilitation of degraded lands. They are introducing an agroforestry economy for farmers.
Cultivated legumes
In his videos, Amanuel shows you the different varieties of beans on his farm – he grows more than 10 varieties of beans! He loves pulses for two reasons: for their value as food and as nitrogen fixers for Sorghum and other vegetables.
